He was born in 1869 AD, in a small town “Chotoi” which is five kilometer away from Mastung. He belonged to tribe of Qalandrani. “Chotoi” was his title because he belonged to village “Chotoi”. He was the midst among his three brothers. His father molana Haji Nabo Jan was a celebrated religious scholar and a great poet and literary person of Brahui language. We can say poetry and love of knowledge were given to him in heritage. Due to this his father in the beginning got him admitted for acquiring religious education. He was admitted in Madrassa Durkhan after receiving the education of Quran and some other percian books. From the teachers of Madrassa, he read Hadith, Islamic jurisprudence and interpretation of Holy Quran. The Company of Molana Mohammad Fazil Durkhani enriched him with knowledge and brought awareness in his mind against the conspiracies, prevailing in the region against Islam. From the beginning he had the desire of getting education. After completing his education, he started teaching along with preaching as following his father, who had worked hard against the Christian missionaries. His hard works and endeavors turned him as the right successor of his father. He carried forwarded his father’s mission with full efforts. Except these he is the writer of several books too.
