Molana Abdul Baqi Durkhani was born on wednesday 20th Rabul-Sani 1332 A.H at Fazilabad Durkhani Dhadar. He was the son of Molana Abdullah Raisani. He received his entire education from his father at home.He was very ambitious writer from his childhood as he was perfect in writing. He also wrote in Balochi and Urdu. He has inscripted his most of books by himself. Moreover, he also performed the services of teaching in the madrassa, established by his father. Molana Abdul Baqi established a Madrassa with the name of “Madrassa-e-Arabia Millia” at sariab road Quetta.

He issued a monthly journal” Moalim” in Urdu language from Quetta in 1950, which included Brahui and Balochi too. This magazine became very popular. The magazine closed in 1958 because of financial problems. In 1966, he got the felicity of performing Hajj. He laid down the foundation of a literary organization and got published the books written by him and other writers. He has recorded and broadcasted hundreds of speeches. There is a huge list of his published books .He was the subeditor of “Pasban” a newspaper, published, after every 11 days. He passed away from this mortal world on March, 27,1985AD.
